The Fat of the land Feature (Development)

The Fat of the Land journeys through Australia’s stunning landscapes, exploring Indigenous and European perspectives on how native foods and the fusion of traditions can connect identity, culture, and sustainability to shape a shared future.

The Fat of the Land combines the meditative visuals of Baraka (1992), the actionable hope of 2040 (2019), and the intimate storytelling of Chef’s Table (2015), using food as a lens to explore identity, culture, sustainability, and the fusion of native and immigrant traditions against the backdrop of Australia’s breath-taking landscapes.
